The dust has settled a bit from my move, and I want to let you know how delighted I was with Jane Idzi as the listing realtor for the sale of my house on Dartmouth. Back in 1995, my late husband, Tom, and I asked Jane to give us a proposal for selling the house, and we liked her professional, yet personal approach. During Tom's fatal illness Jane as an attentive friend, even though our move was on hold. When I was ready to sell, there was no doubt in my mind whom to call, and I've never had a moment's regret.
Jane went right to work, producing a dynamite marketing strategy for the house. She and I both knew that a 1919 craftsman-style bungalow would have limited appeal, yet she took advantage of every opportunity to show the house. No one could have worked harder, put in any more time, or gone any more extra steps than Jane did. She even befriended my snappy little yorkie so that she could show the house when I was at UNT in Denton. She was totally considerate of my schedule, giving me ample notice when she wanted to show the house, and rearranging her own schedule in deference to mine.
I am still amazed at Jane's instincts about potential buyers. She balanced contracts and back-up contracts so that I realized the best possible price for my house. At closing, she took care of every detail so that all I had to do was show up and sign my name. When the deal was done, she found the perfect apartment for me until my new house is constructed. Best of all, she has become a good friend. I hope I will long be able to benefit from her delightful sense of humor and boundless energy. I tell anyone I meet who is considering buying or selling a home to call Jane, and if ever I can provide a reference for a potential client for your firm, please call on me.
Sincerely,
Nancy Berry
