Well, we're finally settling in here and I didn't want any more time to pass before I sat down and properly thanked you for all you did and have done for Ed and me over the past 4 months and really, the last 5 years. It figures that I would decide to sell my sweet old house during the traditionally slow months in an economic slump but you made silk out of a sow's ear and now, here we are in Colorado - with one mortgage payment - thanks, in large part, to you. Once I get a head of steam about something - like moving - it's hard to stop me … economic slump or boom, so it was a good think you were available to help us.
When your family lives as far away as mine does, it's so nice to have someone like you around during stressful times. When I purchased my home in Dallas - my first home - you were there for me around the clock. Your confidence and curb-side-manner eased my first-time0-buyer nerves (mine and my parents, if truth be told). You were honest and direct with me, and while you didn't know me well at the time - that was just what I needed. You made my first home buying experience a great one, and sadly, not many people can say that nor can they attribute it to their real estate professional.
Leaving Dallas was difficult for Ed and me - harder than we thought, but we felt much better knowing you were there. We had every confidence that you would take care of our home and finalize a deal sooner than later. And, we were right. When you move across country, a realtor isn't a luxury, it's a necessity, but with you, Jane - it felt like a luxury. Your generosity with your time, experience and knowledge made us feel more like we were dealing with a friend or family member than a real estate agent. We will recommend you any time we get the chance and hope to stay in touch with you. You've played an important role in the story of my life and now in Ed's and mine together - we look forward to our future and to yours and cannot thank you enough.
