Lakewood
A huge neighborhood with rolling hills and has always been desirable. After the success of "Country Club Estates," homes were continually built from 1930s to the 1970s from Hursell's enchanting Spanishhomes and large estate properties to contemporary styles.
Lakewood Country Club Estates
The oldest part of Lakewood and one of the most inviting areas of Dallas, is today a Conservation District. Developed in the late 1920s and 1930s, it features gently curving streets and two-story homes set on lovely, large lots.
Lakewood Heights
Opened in 1914 and was completed by 1940. Tree-lined streets provide a setting for homes ranging from Tudor and Spanish cottages to Craftsman bungalows.
Lawtherwood
Is a small 1980 subdivision with a one-and-a-half-acre private park and homes set on urban sized lots.
West White Rock
Features large homes built from the 1950s until today, with stunning views of White Rock Lake.
Wilshire Heights
Homes range from grand estates along McCommas to Minimal Traditionals and ranch homes in the areas close to Mockingbird Lane.
